Fermentation Process
In 1980, Dr. Teruo Higa at the University of the Ryukyus, Okinawa, developed the concept of EM (Effective Microorganisms), exploring specific combinations of multiple microorganisms to act synergistically.

Like your genome, your microbiome is unique to you. Explore how these living microbe communities and plants interact and the research guiding our pursuit of health and regeneration.
All life has one thing in common: it begins with a cell.
For thousands of years, plants have been our teachers. Each is a living chemical ecosystem: hundreds of compounds interacting across biological pathways, with a complexity no single isolated ingredient can reproduce.
Forest in a Bottle combines botanical plant diversity and “CEO microorganisms” from earths most ancient ecosystems with Japanese fermentation principles and 14 years of research at Chan Ká Vergel.
Microbial communities exchange metabolites and transform plant compounds, drawing energy from light or organic matter.
Through fermentation and careful cultivation, we translate these living systems into bioavailable activators that support the body at its foundation.
Our research explores how these relationships support regeneration across environmental and human ecosystems for more years lived well.
We capture the essence of the forest bottling its life-giving force and carry its healing power with us wherever we go. Our formulations are rooted in untouched ecosystems - home to complex, living microbiomes that have evolved over millions of years.

Microorganisms, from the Greek - "mikros" = small organisms. In the 1990s, Japanese scientists began to study EM microorganisms. They aimed to select those that could help harmonize and improve their environments. We call them the CEOs and designers of production processes.
EM Microorganisms effectiveness has been demonstrated for three decades across the globe on fields in agriculture and treating intractable illnesses in medicine.
They capture solar energy and transform it into energy from the sun. They are a diverse set of entities. They exist physically, but most are invisible to the human eye. They are, therefore, independent beings. They are part of life's networks, like humans. The microscope's quality defines their existence.
